The British Columbia Entrepreneur Immigration Program is targeted at prospective immigrants who wish to run or establish a business in the province. The government invites individuals who have registered under the program to apply with their business plan, after which a two year working permit is issued in order for accepted applicants to implement the business as planned. Successful candidates receive a nomination under the PNP and are allowed to apply for permanent resident status. After meeting residency requirements, applicants can apply for citizenship.
